What is Entheo Equidae, anyway?

I get asked so often why I chose such a complex name for this business. - What does it mean? How do you pronounce it?

The adjective Entheos translates to English as "full of the god, inspired, possessed", and is the root of the English word "enthusiasm". Or simply, "the god within".

Equidae (sometimes known as the horse family) is the taxonomic family of horses and related animals, including the extant horses, donkeys, and zebras, and many other species known only from fossils. All extant species are in the genus Equus. The term "equid" refers to any member of this family, including any equine.

Therefore, Entheo Equidae, is "The god/ enthusiasm generated from horses".

I believe that my life was shaped by horses, and the profound healing energy these sentient beings offer us through play and learning. Though not all my art is Equine Centered, at my core I am continuously inspired by them.
